I’m not sure if people realise that using Gen AI art isn’t ambient or unweighted. It creates a visceral rejection reaction in certain people (like me). You might as well illustrate your work with old screen grabs from Rotten dot com.

This is such a good book - definitely doesn’t deserve to be hidden away.
As a writer of funny crime books I totally relate to the desire to avoid being stuck in the comedy section.
Perhaps it’s time for some of us to band together and reclaim the section. 😂

BOOKSELLERS! This is coming out in paperback in March. It’s got an amazing cover covered in great quotes and would do really well in your Smart Thinking bay, where you’d put books about the science of music, say. Worth a face out? Not for hiding on the half-humour bay with the puzzles and cat books.
