The friend, who asked to remain anonymous, said Robinson had expressed sentiments to him that were critical of Donald Trump when they were hanging out several years ago despite the rest of his family being broadly conservative in their views. The friend acknowledged he could not be certain about Robinson’s more recent political views, as they lost touch after graduating Pine View high school. Voting records show Robinson was unaffiliated with a political party ahead of the 2024 election. His parents are registered Republicans. Updated at 19.15 EDT

I just realized I hadn't posted my "Before" picture of T Coronae Borealis (T Crb, HR5958) from last Fall 😱 There's an impending nova showing up any day now!

I don't have the right lens for this, so to get the faint 9.8mag, trails are necessary.

For Question 5, which asks - For the preclearance requirement, which requires that World Athletics have on file both the athlete's genetic and hormonal status, please share whether you have a preference between (a) the cheek swab and (b) a dry blood spot test. The cheek swab would provide genetic information but not hormonal status and so would require follow-up in rare cases where the athlete is SRY positive. Dry blood spot tests can provide both genetic and hormone status. I do not believe in either a cheek swab or a dry blood spot test (to test if I'm a female athlete). Identity and eligibility in sport should not be reduced to a single genetic or hormonal marker. Females are more than the sum of oversimplified biological tests. It is critical to ensure that any policies designed for the elite level do not unintentionally trickle down to youth and recreational sport, where different considerations—such as participation, development, and accessibility—must take priority. What may be necessary for elite sport does not always align with the goals of grassroots and community-based sport, and we must take care to protect inclusive participation opportunities at all levels. Rather than investing significant financial and administrative resources into mandatory genetic and hormonal testing, we should ask: How can we better support female athletes?

The galaxy known as NGC981, a disc of gas and dust clouds, seen straight on its edge, providing a similar view to the dark and light patterns streaking across dark skies on Earth, but from much further away. A view of the Milky Way, our home galaxy, from our little corner near the outer edge. A band of dark, nebulous swirls seen against the backdrop of radiant, nebulous swirls, spotted with nebulous swirls of various frequencies, as gas and dust collect into stars, burst with new elements, and repeat.
