Brexit. Destroying the UK's trade, growth and reputation on a daily basis. #FBPE
Ouch. The dotted line is Brexit. The Tories + Brexit absolutely rocketed immigration, and mostly from non EU countries.

However the UK will now pay the price by letting in Reform MP's who will unleash their traitorous efforts to turn this country into 1930's Germany. Disaster.

Girls & women should be very concerned about the risks they have to face on a daily basis, especially risks of sexual attack from men.

However it should be clear that the risk from trans women is minuscule when compare to men. I don't believe this is a misogynistic view, its counting the numbers.

Nigel Farage.

A man of the people?

Anyone else notice the use of a Tesla Model 3 in the 3rd episode on the new season of The Handmaid's Tale driving in Gilead's New Bethlehem town. I wonder if Commander Musk approves.

It clearly states the level of acceptable defects in food that can be sold in the US. So example here with mushrooms is 20 or more maggots per 100g is not acceptable...but 19 is ok. Yum.
April 9, 2025 at 5:02 PM
Congrats to Germany, France and China for reducing their support for financing Musk's nazification of the USA. However no idea what is going on in the UK for February. Maybe a bunch of Reform UK voters got their annual bonuses.

I think American mushrooms is my favourite entry in the US FDA food standards doc. Not only will you be able to count the number of maggots in a tin of mushrooms on 4 hands, you'll be able to measure their length and fish around in the mite infested and rotten goo of mushroom yuckiness:

I feel sorry for all those well meaning Tesla owners who thought buying an EV was helping the planet, when in fact they were just financing the Nazification of America.

For anyone who can't understand why Brexit has been so comprehensively damaging to the UK. Here are the numbers:
March 13, 2025 at 9:00 AM
Eight years ago, still not one single benefit, but a cost that has set the UK back by a generation. History will not be kind to the architects of Brexit who have betrayed our country and will always be judged as traitors.

In fact that geo data is not the problem. My guess is they generate the country based on the IP address of the signee, who could be using a VPN in the UK.

The real problem is that any disposable email can be used and its trivial to write a bot to automate 1000's of fake signees as per this example:

What's the analysis here:

UK electorate is around 50M, so only 6% of voters signed the petition.

Of course not all 2.9M were UK residents, or genuine real people signing up.

However it doessuggest that up to 6% of the UK population, are extremely susceptible to being conned by right wing liars.

With Farage / Reform endlessly stoking up the immigration issue, how far along the 10 steps to genocide are we willing to allow these fascist shysters go?

For a moment, just consider yourself in 1930's Germany, where one noisy fascist managed to win a minority in the Reichstag.

Starmer is undoubtedly an order of magnitude more decent & competent than any Tory PM in the last 15 years

However he must rue the day he wrote his 6 tests for a successful Brexit

And still in 2024, not 1 single Brexit benefit has been either defined or delivered. It's been a catastrophic disaster

Labour will ditch any pledge for UK GDP growth. They have no choice. 2 things happened in 2020. The UK left the EU and Covid lockdowns began. The UK contraction was deeper than the EU and the recovery is low compared to the EU. This is Brexit. Rejoining the EU is the only path to growth.

Maps to GDP pCppp. Worst covid dip, sharp recovery but never recovers to pre Brexit levels or the EU as a whole. Woeful growth, and not sure I see where new growth coming from.

Is this a bad time to bring up "inverted yield curves" ?

This charts the difference between 10 and 2 year Treasury yields. History shows these curves are cyclical and tend to invert then uninvert. The bad news is that we have seen recessions after a steep sustained uninvert, which is happening now.
