I remember a while ago it took me two weeks to figure out how to construct a plane procedurally within #Bevy. Now I've managed to construct a hex grid in just a couple of days.

Just another reminder that persistence isn't always big leaps, but sometimes small gains and time savers.

It ain't much, but its a good start.
Custom mesh generation inside of @bevyengine.org, thanks in part to the great examples that are hosted inside the engine repo.

Final desktop config update, I swear. No one told me I'd get addicted to making desktop setups when I swapped to Linux. And all for me to end up back on something suspiciously similar to windows, smh.

Followed up on my success compiling Godot and took a shot at compiling Unreal Engine 5.5. Epic must've tweaked how the engine functions because this was a much smoother process than compiling 5.4.

Hit a triple slam this evening, started working with Nix shells, actually figured out why NixOS doesn't like dynamically linked libraries, and I finally managed to compile the Godot Engine!
