Plus reading that article, all Proton was able to provide was the recovery email address/phone number, which for me would lead to a burner email, solely for account creation and recovery info.

LAPD will file a warrant, plus I don't. I replaced all Google accounts with proton, and use e/os a version of android that has had Google services stripped.
