Unsurprisingly. The EBU likewise for tying the rule changes to the vote on participation - the implication before the meeting had been that it would be two separate votes (i.e. delegates could vote for the rule changes and for a vote on participation) but that didn't happen

I opened it briefly earlier, to see what was going on, then ran away pretty quickly because it was the same old binfire it has been for a while.

Because Russia’s broadcaster wasn’t independent from the government, after the invasion in 2022. And that’s why they got kicked out of/left the EBU.

This would often be the problem with splitting musicals for a movie - the first half will end with THE big number and a cliffhanger, and the second half is grand when watching all in one go, but won't feel the same in a separate long movie.

It’s not pushing it too much but I did have to double check it when it told me there were updates yesterday and not just run the updates.
