The other major impacts will allow MLS to recruit & retain more talent that will improve the competition to draw more attention.

They've done the market research, they've convinced the proper people & here we go.

Right, and now the most important games will be in better windows to attract even more focus and attention. This is not complicated.

Works just fine in every other major league, even those with inclement winter weather.

Northern teams already play in inclement weather. I'm not sure what the main difference will be.

I'm a season member for a northern club. I get the concern, but I also think about the games I've attended in the freezing temps, rain, sleet, snow.

And read the articles, they’ll put cold weather clubs on road trips during the December/February.

And I’d put money on Leagues Cup over the break

MLS already competes in a congested sports windows. Just look at the calendar.

It allows the league to have better media windows & align their most valuable games against the least competition rather than be up against the behemoths of the NFL & College football.

Judge won & Bellinger got some downballot MVP votes. Disgusting world we live in.

The faux outrage over this is exhausting. Trading some games in June/July for November/December is not the end of the world.

And it'll mean not having to go to Miami/Orlando/Dallas/Houston/Austin in July. Amazing.

Not sure how you came to that conclusion when they already overlap with the NFL season & haven't had NFL lines in years. There will be more games in late fall before the weather really turns.

They're already starting in late February & finishing at the end of October.

That cover is iconic.

If you'd watched the game, you'd know that the US had plenty of chances and they didn't execute on top of brutal mistakes by the defense & goalie.
November 5, 2025 at 12:41 AM
I did. Wouldn't say Mitrovic was out-coached in any way, his players failed to execute.

I also disagree that we had more talent. Teams were fairly equal with Morocco having an edge.

...they just made the QFs & lost to the champions after losing their starting goalie back to their club?
