Swamp is probably harder depending on your approach. I actually somehow entirely missed it my first playthrough. But it's possible to do it even before the Grove, so entirely your call.

The game does a decent job of identifying what's considered the "main" questline of the game, but you have a ton of freedom for what you do (or don't) beyond that. There are parts of Act 1 I just straight-up missed my first playthrough. Act 1 is enormous if you try to see it all.
