New George game looks kinda alright actually, even if the music made me fall asleep.
It's neat that they're doing a bunch of different, playful artstyle for these games, but nothing has really interested me since the first one.

Been on a Gradius kick and I decided to watch the three Salamander OVAs from 1988.
Hard to believe this was ever a thing, but I found a decent quality VHS rip and huge surprise.. they're not good!
But, watching them in a dimly lit bedroom late at night was very comfy, so there's that.

Been on a Gradius kick and I decided to watch the three Salamander OVAs from 1988.

Loving FFT so far. It is definitely much harder than FFTA and especially A2, but the vibes are on point.
Unfortunately, my wizard fell and since I didn't realize the game had perma-death, I immediately overwrote the savedata afterwards and now he's gone.

I dislike the ending overall and it is an insane ass pull, but it's hard to deny the emotional impact.

That's all the Classicvania games I set out to beat and it's over.
This one was overall not as hard as previous titles, but since you only get a number of continues, it increases the tension. Lose them all and you go back to the start of the game, though there are passwords.

I don't think I'm very good at puzzle games, but I set a goal to finish all the D&D puzzles in Last Call and I actually did it.
They are not super complex or anything, but I'm pretty proud still. Took me 10 hours total.

I know its status has diminished over the years, but I still love CV4. I love it so much I bought a cartridge for a console I don't even own and still do not own.
It's not as challenging and some bosses you can sorta just spam you way through, but the atmosphere is on point.
