A great way to insult someone is to say "All Due Respect" when you don't really respect them.

Reminder that this was the original autism puzzle piece logo. A crying boy, because of the genderized diagnosis process and the fact that we are a mysterious puzzle to solve. Crying because, what else do autistics do, right? #NoPuzzlePiece #Autistic #AutismSpeaks #AutisticPride #DisabilityPride

Hey! I found a @stephenking.bsky.social book I didn't know existed, in the bargain bin at the grocery store! They were also playing pretty good music... Is that a bad sign? Lmao

#GaylasLibrary2025 Number 8: White Rage by Carol Anderson. From 2016, but very timely. Regarding the White American's seething rage at African Americans, and the fact that they DARE try to be PEOPLE. Leveraging the machinations of the US government to their advantage, The Man has not changed much.

#GaylasLibrary2025 Number Six, I think? GREEN by Alex Gino. The titular nonbinary middleschooler handles common queer pitfalls like: trying out for the school musical, feeling awkward, crushing on a straight guy, and growing up in a body you're not totally sure if you like yet.

A poem I wrote, in about 2016. Unfortunately, it's as relevant now as it was then. Gonna mail it to him.

I am very overexcited to go sit outside in the sun and drink a "strawberry smoothie," because I haven't had one since winter started because they're so cold and I have no internal temperature regulation, as my mom always says.

#GaylasLibrary2025, Book No.5: Speechless, by Aron Nels Steinke. A graphic novel following a young girl and her animation aspirations, who discovers that what she experiences being unable to talk at school is called situational mutism. Another book that would have changed my life to read as a kid.

Fourth book in #GaylasLibrary2025: A World Worth Saving, By Kyle Lukoff. An adventure headed by a Jewish trans teen, involving a too-close-to-home anti-trans society, a ragtag group of queer teens, a trash golem, and some amazing descriptions of what it's like to be trans in the U.S. right now.
