Bad look for the U! The deal brokered by Ellison has damaged the standing of President Cunningham and the Regents. It positions Ellison as an impactful leader and advocate for the public trust. Given the U is losing the PR battle, how can they re-establish public confidence and repair the damage?

Chomsky, the erudite cat who warned us that the mainstream media manufactures consent, is now watching his legacy face an emergency margin call. I'm frantically shorting his stock CHMP. Noam's reputation is headed for a structural adjustment.

TLDR: He's dead to me.

Mayor Melvin Carter released a statement expressing 'concern and fear this raises for our workers, families, and entire community' shortly after the St. Paul ICE raid. However, Governor Walz has not issued a statement that I'm aware of. Has Mayor-elect Her weighed in?

While I owned a Grand Funk Railroad album and remember listening to 'I'm Your Captain', their music hasn't aged as well as some of their contemporaries. I still enjoy listening to Humble Pie, for instance, largely because Peter Frampton was, in my opinion, the most talented rock musician of the 70s.

I owe a debt to the "viewfinders" I've had. When I was a youngster, I'd lug around a 4x5 field camera and tripod to practice B & W film photography. Regrettably, too often, I lacked my bulky gear. Having an iPhone camera in my pocket is an extraordinary convenience.

The grandeur, scale, and design of Cass Gilbert's architectural vision affirms an era when our public institutions and buildings were revered and epitomized Minnesota's finest aspirations.

Mayor-elect Her is not one to rock the boat. This was signaled during her mayoral campaign by her refusal to take a clear stance on the Summit Avenue Regional Trail Plan.
