It is critical to continue this advocacy and litigation to stop the U.S. gun violence epidemic, and prevent it from becoming a global pandemic.

GAGV previously filed the first amicus brief in U.S. Supreme Court that argues that U.S. gun policy and ghost guns causes harm to other nations, and those international effects should be considered.

Ghost guns are parts kits that make it easy for violent people who are prohibited from buying guns to get them. They not only contribute to gun violence but can also greatly increase the danger of transnational organized crime.

Wins like this send a message to bad actors in the gun industry that they can and will be forced to pay if they choose to act irresponsibly and put profits ahead of people. It’s highly encouraging to see litigation succeed against sellers of deadly ghost guns.
