In the world of Red Dead Redemption, regret hangs heavy over the heads of our protagonists. Roads not taken, choices made poorly, lives never lived. John Marston's sins are so great, he can't accept that he'll ever find salvation.

What are your favorite moments from Rockstar's western saga?

METAL GEAR SOLID 2 gets rightly praised for accurately predicting the future. But let’s not forget that the rest of the MGS franchise has some poignant writing between all the wacky sci-fi action. Is it possible for connection to emerge from destruction? Otacon’s question feels painfully timeless.

David Lynch wrote and directed some of the most mesmerizing art to ever make it to film and television. His vision has even influenced video games including Hi-Fi Rush and The Legend of Zelda franchise. I’m very sad he’s gone but also grateful to have experienced his work. RIP.

METAPHOR RE FANTAZIO continues the Atlus tradition of well written characters that stand out from their ensembles. Heismay is one of our favorite JRPG characters in recent memory. Shades of Frog from Chrono Trigger!

Who is your favorite character from Metaphor?

Harold summaries his workday as: Mid. Even when you live on underwater inside a spaceship on an alien planet, I'm sure we all agree the best part of the work day is when it's over!

They say comedy is subjective, but when it's funny, it's funny. Cyberpunk balances it's huge themes and inventive sci-fi setting with some well-written comedic characters, like good old Ozob!

Kratos and Atreus have a lot of heavy one-on-one moments during their family journey in GOD OF WAR. But the heart of all of Kratos' wisdom comes down to one idea: To "be better" than before.
