Oh wow, that's absolutely the start to a digital horror ARG (or something). It's hard to start anything truly fresh in this horror sphere on YouTube.

Boy howdy does that sound like the premise to a Stephen King novel - it's sorta internet and ghost-related haha.

I also love horror video game essays! It's the reason I started streaming Silent Hill 2-make: Cause I know way too much about the lore w/o ever having played any of the Silent Hill games. But most horror movies and games I cheat by watching video essays about them instead of watching/playing lawl.

Wait so what was the creepy business?

I know that's very "basic bitch" but the thing is, as someone who has incredibly insane nightmares, The Mandela Catalogue really hit me in the feels on those nightmarish moments and that's why it stuck with me.

Oh my gosh, that Doom mod thing? Love it! Of course it took inspiration from Ben Drowned, right? Same with Petscop, even, but that definitely had a much persistent mystery to its storytelling. So cool you mentioned it. But analog horror is my absolute jam. Mandela Catalogue being my fav -

Ooh, I LOVE ARGs. Someone really went through it then, w/The King in Yellow, huh? That's a bold move. That's eldritch-adjacent, right? And am I getting a "House of Leaves" vibe here or what?

HI! Sorry, I'm almost never on social media but I finally came back and noticed your reply. How are you doing? So cool you said anything back!

Depends on what kind of movies the Emmys, Oscars and Tonys are starring in lawl.

Anytime I get the opportunity, I gotta throw it out there: I think a better name woulda been the Washington Minutemen.

-- By its very existence, you were enticed to join. Whether you knew how to sew, crochet or knit - a lot, a little, or just wanted to learn - you came bc it's a great way to meet wonderful ppl & be part of something that *makes* something. It's an art AND a science. And it deserved more respect.

-- give parkour a lot more respect than knitting in your physics assessment. (Read: You treat parkour like it's "cool" whereas knitting is more "surprisingly useful" instead). Back in college, there was a group on campus called "Stitch & Bitch". It didn't need to convince people it was "cool". --

-- that knitting wasn't really researched the same as physics. If you're going to compare and contrast two subjects, I do think it's important to be as informed about both - wouldn't you do the same for a video about, oh I dunno, parkour? You did, & watching that video, you guys seem to --
September 15, 2025 at 4:37 AM
-- the video should've been remade to fix the mistakes & w/the criticisms from the knitting community in mind. As in, instead of simplifying knitting in relation to physics, the complexity & applicability of knitting should be *compared* to physics. It's obvious (& admitted in the pinned comment) --
