As mentioned in the tweet, I appear mildly distressed. My hair is a mess (per usual) and I'm holding a half-eaten grilled cheese in the booth of an Atlanta Waffle House. The leaves are turning yellow and red outside.

Very original opinion. Here it is in 1999.
A usenet post titled: Gerrard and Crew... done yet? From user LNC Shall Apr 26, 1999 is it just me, or is anyone else sick of Gerrard and the crew of the Weatherlight? it was kind of an interesting idea to have a semi-story arc in the sets, but i'm just sick of seeing their damn faces now. plus, the fact that the main bad guy in Rath turned out to be Gerrard's brother... gee, that's ORIGINAL. (heavy sarcasm) let's just call it quits on the whole Weatherlight thing and either go back to a set without a "cast", or get an all-new set of people. what do you think?

Dug around in forums and may have cracked the reasoning (not source) via forum post:
"Phyrexia was created by the will of Yawgmoth".

Who knows whether that was *an* original, unpublished intent from writer/continuity contact or his private assumption. But creator equaled Planeswalker.
