This is one of my biggest concerns as a fan of Colorado racing. Since our stakes are ungraded, there is no way to easily track records of them. Earlier this year I began a project to record the winner of every stakes race ran at Arapahoe Park by going through each day’s historical chart.
Something that’s bothered me about horse racing is its lax record-keeping. DRF did a fairly good job over the years before handing the reins over to Equibase 30 years ago, but Equibase has not made many advancements.

Shot a RMAC soccer championship tournament double header for UCCS student newspaper The Scribe a few weeks back. 4 hours straight in about 20 degree weather with wind and snow and the entire time I’m silently wishing for bigger flakes!
