What is even going on with this cat, I swear.

An update from Max the very shy cat: turns out he isn't shy, he just hates me specifically. Not two minutes after my girlfriend, who he has never met, shows up, he is in her lap begging for petting. Traitor.

Max (formerly Valentino) is missing the outdoors, apparently. Poor lad. We need you to Heal, I'm sorry :(.

The young gentleman was a very good boy at his vet appointment but did not appreciate them trying to wash his feet.
Valentino the cat sits in the back of an open cat carrier, glaring balefully. He is largely black with a white chest and white markings on his face, and has his tail curled around his body.

I am so deeply sorry for the passage of time, but alas, it is true. We're even old enough that this February I had my first "wait, you're meant to be a toddler, not a fully sapient small human" moment about the next generation...

It is new foster time! Meet Valentino, who has been living as a stray for the past two years and was brought to the vets on the 14th (hence the name the vets gave him) with a hurt paw. Paw now fixed and he's convalescing well!

Greetings! I'm mostly going to be using this account to follow various folks more than post anything myself, but I figure it's worth posting something so said folks I intend to follow don't think I'm a spambot. Here's a picture of Fidget, my most recent foster, now happily adopted*.

His body is facing away from the viewer and he is looking over his shoulder towards the viewer with what I would anthropomorphise as an inquisitive expression. His fur is only partially regrown over his missing eye, as it was removed relatively recently. His limbs are tucked under his body and his tail is curved around himself, in typical "loaf" fashion.
