True. US shouldn't be involved. With the melting ice caps, I do think US should work with Denmark and Greenland for some type of expanded joint military bases. Though pretty sure that ship has sailed

So I do dislike Trump, but Monroe Doctrine is very applicable to Greenland. Greenland is widely considered to be part of North America and Denmark claiming ownership is a European nation involving itself in America. It is super outdated concept and not a legal treaty or anything close
