I do the same. Vacuum seal them up and into the freezer. Thaw what I need when I need it. I totally get it.

Chunks are awesome! Great in breakfast burritos, fried rice, casseroles, and ham salad. I always chunk up my leftover ham so I can freeze and reuse.

While I’m already doing that, I’m also donating on our FB Buy Nothing group. The issue with our food bank is people can only go once a month. That’s just not enough. I’m also dusting off my old couponing/loyalty card skills. If I can manage to get free shit, that’s better than a food bank can do.

I admit I had to try making it. Came out great but I don’t think I’ll do it again unless there is some horrible puff pastry shortage.
