What we are experiencing is creeping authoritarianism, in which incremental changes some have referred to in the past as “salami tactics” are used to undermine all of the underpinnings of democratic government, slicing them away methodically with (in this case) mostly quasi-legal modifications. Yes?

Biden did repeatedly express frustration with coverage he perceived as sensationalist, negative narratives rather than the accomplishments of his administration.

And it was his right to do so.
