I want to say "Mate," but I've been told that's a no go with my British mates.

Sprout Quest is a big ask for our core audience. But I got asked why none of my fairies were whimsical and fun one time and I wasn't going to let anyone tell me that I /couldn't/.

Sprout Quest is an aggressively wholesome cartoon. Like David the Gnome and the Smurfs had a baby and left it to be raised by the fairies. There's friendship and songs that moves mountains. There's lore both deep and dark, but the kids came here for the talking animals. They learn to be brave. 13/14

Sprout Quest is an aggressively wholesome cartoon. Like David the Gnome and the Smurfs had a baby and left it to be raised by the fairies. There's friendship and songs that moves mountains. There's lore both deep and dark, but the kids came here for the talking animals. They learn to be brave. 13/14
Dungeon Jam is a cutesy anime that has no business being as dark as it is. Dungeon Meshi meets Stardew Valley shouldn't relish the amount of gore that goes into making monsters into jam like this. The voice actors are going way harder than they need to. The saturation is pegged at 11. 12/14

No God's Country is Colony if the protags were competent and it ran on HBO. The leaders are broken people doing their best. The cell-members are a grab bag of idealists, hard-bitten survivors, and the kind of monsters you can't help but root for. Your favorites die. You hate watch every week. 9/14

Spirited Cafe is begging to be a Studio Ghibli feature, but I'm going to say it's a reality cooking show. The guests are done up in just stunning prosthetics and makeup (can we get WETA?) and the game is guessing their culinary preferences and teamwork with family. No celebrity chefs. None. 7/14
