Agreed, I've seen toxic gender ideology on all sides of the queer community (been seeing a lot of radfem rhetoric), but I feel like white AFAB people *are* getting away with a lot more on account of toxic femininity. Ykno. White "woman" tears. Not to misgender anyone, that's just what the term is.

I'd argue it's every company, point blank. Even my school is encouraging AI use in certain situations.

And this isn't to deny the toxic masculinity conversation, I just feel like we're kicking a dead horse in quite a few cases. Y'all the burden to improve systemic behaviours shouldn't just be on a portion of the population. More self-reflection is required.

Me too, but you get far more enjoyment/knowledge/etc out of something when you're doing it yourself. Avoid AI use for your own personal development. Trust me. I know it's hard, but the easy way out will not reward you as richly.

Like, you're paying for your education - why do you not put the work in? You want what little recognition artists get, why do you not pick up the pencil? Because you're tired of the expectations placed on you in this society?

That being said, if you are publishing genAI outputs and claiming to be an artist you are a clown, a fool, and you have no work ethic or respect for artists who have spent years honing their craft. Same with writing. I've seen fellow students submit 100% AI written works. ☠️

I know why people default to AI use so readily, and it's because we're all tired from crapitalism. We're overworked so we find ways to delegate. It's hard for me to draw a hard line on AI use, especially when analytical AI is so dang useful.
