Any sufficiently complicated raw-DOM JavaScript program contains an ad hoc, informally-specified, bug-ridden, slow implementation of half of React

broadly agree about environment but i do appreciate the isolation they provide. it's one thing to not route public internet to a private service, it's another to just not let it be possible at all

sounds like a particularly dodgy clip - one of mine does fall off, but only if there's excess twisting pressure on it. that said, it's far from the best audio solution, i mostly use it for the improved comfort compared to soft strap (even w/ bdman)

this is usually most obvious in cross-shaped rooms where one or more walls seem like odd dead ends, but the new DD also has this very obviously in outdoor areas where the path continues but is blocked by a vine wall

each floor "style" has a small number (like, 2 or so) hand-built maps with most rooms connecting as a full grid.
when "generating" a new floor to play, it picks one of those main maps, then replaces corridors with walls to limit the size of the playable area.

i've not checked the new one, but i assume it's the same as prior deep dungeon map logic - the map itself is not procedurally generated. 1/

few years back they dropped 10-seat free accounts for anyone who was considered a "business" by some heuristic they cooked up

i doubt anything will be as """seamless""" but at this point i'm just _over_ it. i got kicked onto business / workspace tier when they dropped free, and now i'm increasingly getting screwed over by limitations

and as a side benefit you're now able to upgrade them separately! there's an entire world of bullshit out there for both sides of the equation.
