We can be permanent residents by renting or buying. You don’t complete a medical exam until you apply for dual citizenship. Canada accepts immigrants with conditions like EDS or high-functioning ASD. I’m self-sufficient and don’t incur high costs. These conditions don’t automatically disqualify me.

We’re looking at ON and NS Canada. They’ve seen at 25% rise in alt right extremism since 2015, but nothing like we’ve been dealing with here. Their biggest conflict has been with India’s government over Sikh separatists. They’re seeing post-COVID inflation too. But our money will go further there.

It’s the algorithm. It learns what you love most or what you hate and respond to the most and shows you more of it. So, if you’re engaging with the hateful posts or bots, it’ll change your feed to show you more of what you engage with. I think that’s why some see more doom and gloom than others.

Once registered Democrat, even Green. I vibe with some Libertine ideas, but others have me side-eyeing. I used to be active in causes close to my heart, but as I’ve gotten older, grassroots movements lost steam, and cynicism crept in. Now my autistic, bi, disabled self and my partner are packing up.

As an independent, I wish progressives would become part of the broader liberal movement. Together, we might have a more balanced party and real progress instead of this ongoing division. Mistakes were made, but how do we fix them?

Renewing passports, getting the kids set up, and scoping it out next summer. I'll write, he'll design, and we'll exit stage left to somewhere that values the creative working class within the next two to three years. Peace out.✌️ #resist #project2025 #ifwegodownwegodowntogether

Us? We've thought it over. We're looking north. No place perfect but there's freedom in the arts, education, affordable housing, and more affordable healthcare that's looking pretty damn attractive right now in Canada.

Suzette Baker in Texas? Fired for refusing to take down a display of books. Terri Lesley in Wyoming? Fired for not removing certain books from the library's collection. For educators, artists, writers, musicians—it's here.

Civil rights and free speech groups are challenging bans, but this isn't easy. The ACLU is fighting, but they're barely keeping up. Book bans, digital restrictions, librarians fired for not toeing the line—this is the new normal.

What does that even mean in 2025? My LGBTQ friends? My best friend of over twenty years and his wife? The people we love will feel it first, but we all will eventually.

Project 2025's blueprint includes language about biblical marriage. They oppose "nonreligious definitions of marriage and family" included in the Respect for Marriage Act, which protects same-sex and interracial marriages.

The UN warned us about this conservative pushback—women's rights, reproductive health, and equality—under attack everywhere. This isn't one guy. It's not even a one-party problem. This is a wave, and we're all riding it "whether we like it or not."

We're being told where our place is. Unpaid, kept home, having babies. He wants to "protect" women "whether the women like it or not." This isn't about protecting anyone or being pro-life. It's control. Plain and simple.

Meanwhile, they're selling "Her Body, My Choice" merch on Amazon. Twitter (or X, whatever) is a dumpster fire of misogyny, and we're all getting the message loud and clear.

So, yeah, it's not like they're totally separate plans. It's like someone read 1984, took notes, and thought, What if we did more of this, but with covfefe as the national motto because who needs meaning when you've got vague late-night tweeting?

And if you think Project 2025 is an unrelated policy paper, well, guess again. Former Trump officials wrote it, and he's already promised guys like Tom Homan a key role. The kind of people you want in charge of things like freedom and human rights (that's sarcasm).

But hey, his official plan is Agenda 47. Because why look to the future when you can slap your own presidential number on it and call it a day?

Think FDA approval has your back? Think again. Not once Schedule F appoints political lackies to the FDA. They'll ignore that, too.

Lower courts will issue injunctions that prevent enforcement while the cases are litigated. Some blue states are preemptively stockpiling, but if this goes to the courts, it'll be a long fight, maybe two years before we know the verdict.

These would likely focus on whether the federal government can restrict access to FDA-approved drugs and whether the Comstock Act applies to modern abortion medications.
