I think one of the more frustrating things about mid-size cities + small towns is the reluctance to engage/support/care about things happening in the town. People will literally drive 3 hours for show out of town but can’t bother to get off the couch for something local.

Four years ago Entertainment Weekly released the poster for Jakob’s Wife and the next day it was released at SXSW. This movie changed everything for me and taught me to respect my own work. Working in the film industry is not easy but moments like this make it so special 🖤
