People will hold on to grudges over supposed “curses” cast upon them instead of focusing on their own practices. This means you aren’t a witch. You’re a wannabe.

I see far too many “witches” spend their time hunting those they assumed have hurt them, then actually taking responsibility for their life. When I was in a coven that fell apart everyone wanted to shout “witch” instead of talking about the real life abuse that was happening.
