I do wish their prices were lower, but I have loved the festival longer than their current pricing scheme and my loyalty will last longer than their current prices. Still worth the visit. There is the opportunity to see a remarkable production of Major Barbara this season.

Ya no. Wikipedia editors are brutal with deleting local information and Indigenous information. It is an incredibly surface level. Try adding cited information to your town or city’s Wikipedia page, it will be deleted in hours.

Severn and the ensemble have found the full depth and power of this play. A special mention must be made of Randy Hughson’s extraordinary performance which culminates in divine and sorrowful final moments which left the theatre in suspended silence.

It is about a new generation with new ideas and the previous generation attempting to reconcile living together in a world that is neither the past nor the future but an ambivalent present.

By the end of the play we are fully emerged in the fraught geometry of their relationships. While the play renders a very specific moment in time and a very specific Amish community, at its core the play is about counterculture.

If it is a freebie it better be a freebie for everyone. If the project is professional, it can only be called that if everyone is being compensated EQUITABLY.

I continue to be confounded, enraged and disheartened when I hear about early career artists being expected to work for less or no money, while other people on the same project are getting paid.
