Nothing notable for now.
But yes, this does not mean I'm done learning...there's still more kanji to be learned, but I will likely add those through my own experience, and not bookwork. And of course, I still need to, and will, review what I have on a daily basis. But for now, this is the end of daily updates. I'm so happy.

Day 82
Kanji: 2200/2200

After so many years of trying and failing, today, I finally reach my kanji goal. I feel...numb? In disbelief? It doesn't feel like I'm there yet. It will probably set in soon. Perhaps it feels that way because I know there is still a lot to learn.

Day 81
Kanji: 2175/2200

I was very determined to get this done earlier than yesterday, and I somehow succeeded in that. I expect to be even more motivated tomorrow, since...that's the last day!

Day 80
Kanji: 2150/2200

There were a lot of horses in this one.

Day 78
Kanji: 2125/2000

Finished early, kind of. Funnily enough, I saw what seemed like a crazy one today, and yet I had a lot less trouble with it then some of the others.

I will likely be too busy tomorrow to have the time to add anything new (will still review), so additions will resume Monday.

Day 77
Kanji: 2100/2200

Very late. Very tired. Very satisfied with the work done though.
September 20, 2025 at 5:23 AM
Day 76
Kanji: 2075/2200

Man...that number is getting AWFULLY close. Hard to believe it's getting there this fast, but I guess that's what happens when I spend 3+ hours per night on it.

Day 75
Kanji: 2050

Mistakes were made, since I'm still awake. But tonight's work is done.
September 18, 2025 at 5:38 AM
Day 74
Kanji: 2025/2200

Wooooo! Happy 2025!!!
Jokes aside, I was able to finish today's session in record time. While I'm dead-tired as a result, it also means I can actually do something about it by going to bed at a normal time. What a relief.

Day 73
Kanji: 2000/2200

Started early, finished late. Don't know what that says about me.

On the bright side...2000 is an impressive number. It also means I'm halfway through the new additions, so I've only got just over a week to go.

Day 72
Kanji: 1975

Yessir, back to normal today, and things are progressing smoothly.
September 15, 2025 at 3:37 AM
Day 71
Kanji: 1950/2200

I forgot to post yesterday, but I did get new stuff added. As for today...I didn't. It feels pathetic to say. I did still review my existing material: my folly last year was not reviewing material on days with no additions. Still, I don't want to make a habit of this.
September 14, 2025 at 5:00 AM
Day 69
Kanji: 1925/2200

Time to get a lot of rest. Then I'll go ahead with my plan from yesterday.
September 12, 2025 at 5:54 AM
Day 68
Kanji: 1900/2200

I keep missing typos on my posts. No more this time. I can't make any typos if I don't type anything!

Alright, but really...more of the same today. Once I get to the weekend, I'll try to make some flash cards ahead of when I'll need them. It'll save me this exhaustion.
September 11, 2025 at 4:51 AM
Day 67
Kanji: 1875

Another typo. Just shows how tired I am. Work, study, sleep. Work, study, sleep. Said studying cuts into my sleep, which makes work and further more difficult. But this short-term suffering should yield long-term success. I've finished relatively early too, so I'd best sleep now.
September 10, 2025 at 4:27 AM
Day 66
Kanji: 1650/2200

Combined with writing new flash cards, it's taking about 3 hours to study. I can probably get that lower.
September 9, 2025 at 4:23 AM
Day 65
Kanji: 1625/2200

I was so tired that I couldn't do basic math: I've got 16 days to go at this rate, not 14. Well, actually it's 15 now that I'm done today. I'm even more tired today. The time sink is real now that I'm making flash cards again, as I expected.
September 8, 2025 at 4:52 AM
I'll probably go back to my daily updates again, now that I've proven I have rebuilt my ability to do this daily. It'll be more challenging from here, since I need to make new flash cards again, but I only need to keep up this momentum for 14 more days, and I'll have reached my current goal.
September 7, 2025 at 5:29 AM
I've been studying kanji for 64 days in a row so far, definitely beating out my performance last year. I had an edge this time though, since I didn't have to spend the time making the flash cards. I didn't completely forgot everything, but without that routine, I didn't remember too much.

July 26, 2025 at 5:47 PM
I think I'm well-adjusted to the new schedule now, so I'm going to keep going. I'm very close to adding everything I need, so I'm going to take additions slow and just work on being consistent. And of course, I'll take time to review whatever I can. I don't know if I'll put up normal updates though.
February 25, 2025 at 4:16 AM
Day: 29
Kanji: 860/1340

Whew...I promise, there's a good reason I've been away from this, but it'll be a while before I can elaborate. Anyway, I took my time adding these new kanji. I have a new deadline, which will be around the time when I can explain myself, which is about a month from now.
January 20, 2025 at 4:43 AM
Day: 28
Kanji: 830/1340

Alright. Given it's the new year, I don't have a definitive day counter anymore, but I would like to have added everything by the end of the month. I shouldn't have any problem doing that...assuming something important doesn't adjust my priorities again.
