Thanks Measure A1! This month we celebrated the Ground Breaking for Pacific Avenue Senior Homes at 3701 Pacific Avenue, Livermore.The development, which received $6.1M of bond funding, will have 79 units of housing for low-income seniors, earning 20% to 60% of AMI, seniors experiencing homelessness.

Did you know Alameda County utilizes a Mobile Citizen app that allows the public to report potholes, graffiti, and illegal dumping to the County's Public Works Agency? Search for "mobile citizen" in your phone's app store.

HUD federal funds make a big difference in Alameda County!
The County receives $18.5M in CBDG. In addition to assisting over 1,000 people with housing services, the funds pay for community infrastructure, educational facilities, senior services like Meals on Wheels, home repair and legal help.

Did you know: There are 22,000 low income households that are served by the HUD's Housing Choice Vouchers in Alameda County, for a total of $525M in critically important funding that keeps people housed? The voucher is a form of federal assistance for low-income individuals helping to paying rent.

Federal funding in Alameda County makes a huge impact!
In Alameda County, 28% of homeless services funding is from HUD's Continuum of Care (COC) program, or $589M in the last fiscal year. This money serves 19,000 a year with emergency shelter and supportive housing, keeping people sheltered.

Last Friday HCD was proud to attend the Grand Opening of Crescent Grove Apartments, a 72-unit new affordable housing project. Alameda County committed over $16 million in CDBG, Boomerang, ARPA-SLRF, HOME and Measure A1 (MA1) bond funds funds.

Thanks Measure A1! Our new report shows that MA1 funds have been used to create 4,181 new affordable housing units and leveraged $3.3B in total construction value for a 1:7.5 leverage ratio. Every MA1 $ that went into a rental units attracted more than $7 for the project! measurea1.acgov.org

Thanks, Measure A1! 255 people have been approved for down payment assistance through AC Boost. Approved applicants can borrow up to $210,000 in the form of a down payment assistance loan to buy a home in Alameda County. Over 20% of approved applicants are teachers! www.acboost.org.
