You do realize that approval ratings only matter if you need to get re-elected. Either Trump ends all elections and stays in power, or he's ineligible due to term limits. In either case these polls are irrelevant.

Were these the same plans he showed off to the reporters?

You mean we shouldn't trust anything about ultra-cheap products sold by "companies" that are named with literally random-character names that are all based in China? What are we coming to!?

They're just too busy spamming all phone in TX with support for legiscan.com/TX/drafts/SJ... to deal with fighting NY.

The math is simple: Partner income > childcare $? If no, it's "cheaper" to have the lower paying partner stay at home. And yes, that means someone has to sacrifice and the lower overall income is a challenge. This is how it has always been. There is no magic "universal option" coming to the rescue.

Laurence gets it mostly right, except for one thing. He jumps from lawlessness to pardons. SCOTUS explicitly stated that orders to not enforce the law is not reviewable by the courts. Pardons are only needed if they leave power.

Per SCOTUS, the President is immune from prosecution for any acts taken as part of the power of the Presidency. Which makes all actions by Executive Order completely legal, even if they conflict with the Constitution.

"May be" is code for "It's illegal - until you appeal it to the captured SCOTUS who will let you do it anyway"

Finally, the printer will waste more ink in service to printing out marginally crappier text. Because I want MORE ink on the page and less cash in my wallet just to have a better black!

Mindset. Greed vs Gratefulness. "It's mine get away from it" vs "It's a tool to benefit everyone not just me".

It's not just prices on things. It's wages too. That's been going on for decades (I know of at least one major retailer who was sharing wage data by position at the zip-code level back in the early 2000s, and the data set was huge).

MAGA saying Dems should pivot to "moderate" positions is like a lion asking zebras to go to the watering hole one at a time.

I really think he's not being evasive in his filings. He's being forgetful. It's hard to remember all the grift if it's every day of the week all year every year.

...and if a Dem POTUS did use these new "powers", that's complete proof that the system is corrupt and must be overthrown violently. I'm getting tired of the "my way or violence" party.

If the major component of the inflation index that remains stubbornly high is housing, WHY keep interest rates so high? You'd lower inflation by lowering the cost of borrowing in that case. Even if you do it by 25 basis points.

Please note that the foreword completely ignores the current Russian regime while calling out China as the single international threat. Which makes sense when you think about it: this is a recipe to dismantle the entire United States system of government, clearing the road for Putin.
