The media play a huge role in perpetuating #stigma, especially news reporting about violence/homicide & #schizophrenia/#psychosis.

Am getting this message out there early - Mon 20th Jan #BlueMonday (aka the most 'depressing' day of the year) is not only complete #pseudoscience, it also propagates a definition of #depression & its treatment that trivialises & thereby stigmatises it. IMHO activists should steer well clear of it!
