People think you gotta make a masterpiece to be a game dev but JUST MAKE STUFF!!! Games are like any other form of art, whether it's silly or serious someone is going to enjoy what you create and even if nobody sees your work the first few times you should create just because it's fun!!
people gotta be less afraid to make video game-ass video games. "look how realistic our animations and mechanics are ooo" fuck you, let me tap the same direction with the control stick over and over to make my guy look like he's sliding around

I got a bunch of sushi stuff for christmas yesterday so I am going to do nothing by try different sushi recipes and play video games over the next week (though I suppose I SHOULD try to get work done while I'm still on break)
