Liars, the actual madmen, have no shame. You can’t turn them around. But it’s pretty easy not to be driven insane. It’s almost relaxing. Honesty is simple and familiar. All we have to do is continue to speak the truth. And we may have to fight for that right. In America, so far, that right is ours.

How did we become a nation that doesn’t care about people in need?

USAID may look like an easy target to an executive branch made up of aspiring dictatorBROs, but those of us who also factor in that risk (establishing extreme superiority of a formerly equal branch) should raise our voices.

USAID is not a bloated organization, but one that has been allocated less than 0.5% of the annual budget. Gutting it means incalculable damage to people around the world, to American farmers, Christian organizations and to our national security.
