Generally being treated by someone who can't use my own brain (Why does the start menu recommend me programs to add to it? Why can't I turn off recommendations?

Also they changed the location of the right-click rename and it is driving me up the wall after decades of having it in the old place

My biggest gripes is the start menu - I hate that that searching has become the norm to find programs. It feels so much more cluttered, too. Even when expanded to show all, it feels much crappier than it was before. And it also lacks quick access to the control panel's settings that Win 10 has

Unfortunately, the concept of IQ has leaked into diagnostic and educational policy language, which is "not great, Bob", to say the least.

In summary, IMHO the concept of IQ deserves scrutiny and contextual understanding instead of mysticism. Alas, it's much easier to believe in magic.

"Vanity" intelligence tests like Mensa's are especially exhausting in that regard.

I do believe there's merit in trying to assess psychological constructs (including concepts related to cognitive functioning) to aid in things such as neuropsychological rehabilitation of learning disorders.

Speaking as someone who's heavily into psychometrics, I agree that reporting any kind of "IQ" in isolation is a prime example of what should not be done. People will latch to a number that they don't fully understand is at best a rough snapshot of task behavior and make it their whole personality.
