In my opinion, no, it is a shit musical and the character writing was trash. It also felt extremely racist to me, and after seeing mexicans opinions about the film, it seems i was right.

As far as i know, Mexico is in North American, but the french guy that directed/wrote the movie can't even speak spanish and none of the main actresses are from Mexico.
