Tonight’s dinner. Homemade Korean fried chicken in homemade bao buns topped with homemade Korean style hot sauce and you guessed it homemade pickled red onions. Also some jalapeño and green onions with a bit of Japanese mayonnaise.

Homemade fries with smash burgers tonight. The Yukon gold potatoes were sweet like yams. And the burgers were tender and juicy. The best part was all Canadian products. #KitsWhoCook @calmecam.bsky.social

The annual month of pine needles in the house has commenced. I bought the miracle gro stuff to limit the amount of needles that fall so will report back with updates.

#LightUpChinatown was a great family time yesterday. From skytrain to traditional dancing to decently priced beer and making paper lanterns as souvenirs.
