Xbox turning into just a game publisher will be bad because then Sony doesn't have a direct competitor. Nintendo do their own thing and pc is a different market. Between Xbox and PS, Xbox have the best modding policy and customer service in regards to refunds etc Sony greed will become uncapped

What's important is if Xbox collapse Sony has a monopoly basically and then we can expect prices to reach ridiculous levels, especially in relation to ps plus. Hell Sony already charged 125aud for Lords of the fallen and Xbox only 100aud.

They have better standards for mods in games, they should embrace that and make it the console to go to if you want modded games. Arma reforger for example is one game they should be getting behind. The devs have struggled to release on PSN because of Sony's mod policys, Xbox should take advantage

As someone who owns both systems I desperately need Xbox to be successful so PlayStation has more pressure on them to match their modding standards and so on. The idea of PlayStation having a monopoly disturbs me

And to be clear I enjoy horror but I've never found it to be anything too profound so my standards for them are already low

I find most pure horror movies have typically been bad regardless of the era and has always been quite predictable. It's the sub genres that have become stale, like action horror or thriller movies. A quiet place is the last good thriller I've seen and can't remember anything else released near it
