Update on my search for my childhood mp3 player, I’ve been looking at random eBay lot posts trying to find it, and today I struck gold. It was a Mymusix PD-205. Seems like a budget nano, which makes sense for the time. Ended up striking a deal with the seller and bought it separately!!

Right as I said that, I ended up finding the camera!! Was a Canon Powershot SD600.. 6 whole MP’s! It even had video, but no audio, so all of my old bmx, skateboarding, and hangout videos with my friends had random music in the background edited in that I could rip from my stepdads cds.

You might be asking why I’m trying to find this obscure early 2000s mp3 player and the reason is that I’ve kept my most used devices and “honor” their usefulness to me by keeping them in this display box. They remind me of the impact of their design on my daily life, which I find important

Spending my free time today trying to find an old mp3 player I used to have. It was small, square, black, had rounded edges that were either silver or gray, an lcd screen on the top left (if I remember correctly), and a d-pad that looked like it was round. It was similar in design to the

The only solace I have buying all of this is it will be perfectly adjustable; with the rear almost completely T3 stuff, and the front becoming that as well, I'll have full range to do anything.

Almost forgot to mention, by prepping for the brake and conversion kit, I mean cutting out the lower control arms and TC rods because they're rusted tight. So that means I get to drop another $800 on these.

knowing what premix was 😵‍💫. It's a mess.. lots of rust, but thankfully not around where the spindles bolt in like some other FBs like it.

I'm currently prepping for adding this to it to convert the bolt pattern to 114.3x4 and have an easier time doing the brakes.

Finally, after many attempts, I got my Raspberry Pi working as a NAS. Also mounted it to the desk for quick access, as well as the other controllers for hdmi, usbs, docking, etc. Still need to route the cords better..

ALL THE ACCESS, ALL THE CONTROL. Cyber god-complex in full affect rn.

Need more raspberry pi’s.. using the model 2 for the terminal monitor and the 4 for a nas. Still need one for an ad blocker and a backup one for any other project that comes up

Trying to get the command center to be an extension of myself; something I don’t even have to look at but can manipulate without thought. One way I’ve been doing that is flipping between usb controls and a multi screen setup, as well as quick accessible plugs for energy savings. Always changing..

Been delving more and more into solar backups, especially to run our critical home appliances; don’t know what’ll happen living in the Midwest with our relations to Canada in terms of energy #fdt. Got an EcoFlow backup with a 200w panel. Testing a bit on my “command center” today. #ecoflow #solar

The graveyard. All great devices that have serviced me well. The blackberry still works, but everything else is shot. Can’t bring myself to throw them away though.. far too sentimental for things I’ve kept on my person on a daily basis; they helped me in so many ways. #divinemachinery at its core

Finally got time to go through my hotwheels display collections. Only have so much space so I needed to store some that were of lesser importance to me. I can’t order these to save my life and it drives me absolutely nuts.

Bought this SmithCorona monitor off of marketplace not realizing it didn’t have a VGA cord. Didn’t know it’s not a video monitor from around the 90s, but a terminal with a rs232/de9/serial port connection (which forgot existed). Add a #raspberrypi and make a fun terminal project?
