I've taken medications that affect my brain chemistry; I had noticed my dreams feel different, like more clear and vivid, and my emotions are more stable (with medicine).

Huh, I'm surprised too. I thought they were more common than that.
But also, most people don't remember their dreams; if they can recall nightmares, then it must have been really bad.
Getting frequent nightmares might be because of stress. 😓 Or something bothering ya that manifests itself in dreams.
