Think VDF has to be considered along with T Curry- back row depth is incredible across the 4 nations. 10 is wide open and I love Finn R- but he’s been really poor by his standards in 1.25 matches. I think full back is open too. BK again struggling, Keenan not where he was.

Haha- there’s a definite bit of spice in these matches too- think it mainly goes back to Glasgow-Munster from about 2015? I worry Scotland have a tendency to drift out of matches for periods. And this Irish side are killers- do it and they’ll seize the chance. Plus Irish pack are test animals

It’s really strange, Scotland have found a way to be hugely clinical against England, yet freeze whenever the same opportunities arise against Ireland. Pre tournament I also never bought into the narrative of Ireland being on the decline, I couldn’t see it. I think Ireland by 7-9 points on Sunday

Think that’s absolutely bang on- and despite what some claim, us Scots are well aware of our limitations- esp against this exceptionally good Irish side. I fear more of the same on Sunday, Irelands power and discipline will just be too good for Scotland. Even if we had Sione it would be a struggle
