I’m that person who will knowingly renew a subscription to a publication that I never seem to have time to read just so I can support my fellow writers. But today, I had to pull the plug. I’m very sad to do it. If money is the only thing that matters, then money must be the medium for protest.

Tesla is expecting to get $400 million from the U.S. gov't for armored vehicles this year.

Gee, I sure hope Elon and the DOGE dudes take a closer look at that. I hear those vehicles don't have a great track record.

Two tragic aviation disasters in three days? Couldn't have anything to do with this warning from 2 weeks ago, could it? Maybe we'll never know because Elon is kneecapping all the agencies that would be looking into it.

Can we talk about the word DOGE? I don't think it's an accidental acronym.

This is the Doge's Palace in Venice. It's where the leader of the Venetian Republic lived. The Doge served for life.

I imagine that Elon is enjoying this little coincidence.

@whowhatwhyorg.bsky.social I just stumbled upon this article by Jonathan D. Simon. Any chance we'll get an update on that election data soon?

A chronological (and slightly snarky list) of all the times President McNuggets bragged about stealing the election.

A partial list of all the times Trump admitted to fixing the election. And for dessert, please enjoy the weird, Nazi-flavored compliment Trump paid Elon's kid.

Is no one going to talk about the Nazi-flavored language Trump used in regard to Elon's kid at the rally last night?

“One thing we know, his son is very smart. If you believe in the race horse theory he’s got a nice smart son ... but thank you very much to Elon.”

Today is my birthday. When I blew out my candles last year I jokingly said, “I wish for a second Trump term!” It seemed so funny at the time.

Trump and Musk have been bragging about fixing the election for months. And Trump just said it again tonight. open.substack.com/pub/trishsam...

Say it with me: January is the worst time to something new. It's not a month of productivity. It's a month of pondering and puttering.

It just took me 40 mins to find out where to get bloodwork on my new health insurance through Independence Blue Cross/Keystone. I finally had to call. Then it took 13 minutes for someone to answer whether Labcorp was my provider or not.

Here's a post I wrote a few days ago about how to survive this moment. There will be a time to figure out what's next. But if you're struggling, that time is not right now.
