About 13 years ago we took in this cat who had been so badly abused that he'd growl whenever I pet him. But he also wanted love so much, he'd lean hard enough into my hand that he'd fall over when the scritches stopped.

There's some kind of lesson there, but I dunno what.

My mother-in-law took me to her local #yarn store, then asked me what I was making with all of these skeins.

I don't think she realizes that #knitting and buying yarn are NOT the same hobby.
