As a birthworker for 20 years and chronic illness survivor for even longer, I strongly recommend that you not follow their teachings or advice, let them massage you, or touch your spine or body. And know: it's ok to ask folks' beliefs when exploring care. If they say otherwise that's a red flag.

You are worthy and deserving of so much more. My mask remains on and my heart will never grow tired of loving you.

Trans folks are worth protecting, and...cis folks need to be dismantling transphobia not just for us but for themselves and everyone including kids of all genders. 2/2

And pay attention long enough, many say more anti-trans or ableist things, too. Tell them, regardless of health views: bigotry is violent. 3/3

He was just given more power. Many knew and chose this for the sake of so-called health. "Sacrifices must be made," they told those of us being sacrificed against our will. That's not health, it's supremacy. 2/3

Kids are taking huge risks because they know what’s at risk if they don’t. Will we as adults not at the very least meet them in their bravery? 3/3

Many are resisting at school. Being disliked can mean refusal of access to even a bathroom. I’ve seen that wreak havoc on kids’ digestion or lead to humiliation. It’s child abuse. I fought fascism in school. I paid for it. 2/3

Same, Rosemary! Thank you for taking the energy to say that. Also they have no idea how much we accomplish from bed, how many disabled lives are saved that are otherwise ignored by in-person “community.” At best we’re never on non-disabled folks’ radar and this is a perfect example of that.

Thank you, Alice. People have no idea how much we get done online, how many lives are saved. And they conveniently forget all they have learned from us. Not to mention this organizing is all done while trying for 8 hours to get a few bites or sips of food down! They should be asking what we need.

Not only does the collective include disabled folks, the rest of humans truly wouldn't know how to survive into the future without us. We are wisdom keepers and protectors of sacred seeds that are needed to grow liberation or any future whatsoever. You do more than enough. Thank you.
