Week 3: Vowel links make English feel effortless, not rushed.

When vowels meet, native speech adds a glide to avoid a hard stop.

Try it:
who is → who(W)is
I agree → I(Y)agree
do it → do(W)it

This linking makes your speech smooth and matches native English speaker's timing.

Week 3: Vowel-to-Vowel Links 🎯

When a word ends in a vowel and the next starts with a vowel, add a /W/ or /Y/sound.

/W/ "so awesome → so-(W)-aw-suhm", "flew in → flueWin"

/Y/"pay up → payYup", "I am → ayeYam"

Watch out - Silent letters can trick you — > “made it" = Rule 2 (consonant → vowel).

🗣️ Intonation shapes meaning & flow in English!

✅ Statement → falls: “She’s a doctor.” ⬇️
✅ Yes/No → rises: “Is he a doctor?” ⬆️
✅ Surprise → rises: “He bought a car?” ⬆️
✅ Lists → rise… rise… fall

Which do you struggle with most?

🗣️ Tiny English detail, big impact:
In fast speech, the T in “NT” often disappears.

So "student, count", and "important" end with a soft N, not a hard T.
Examples:
spent → spen-n
plant → plan-n
student → studen-n ✨

**1/4 🗣️ Quick Tip: Reduce “and” → ’n’ for smoother English**

Drop the “a” & “d” sounds and blend the “n” naturally into the surrounding words.

No forced pause —> just smooth connection. ✨

Want to sound more confident when you speak? Pause.
A 1–2 second pause makes your message clearer, calmer, and easier to understand. In healthcare, aviation, or any high-stakes setting.

🚨 Correcting someone at work can be tricky especially in **high-pressure environments** like aviation or healthcare.

Over-explaining or apologizing too much often **muddles your message**.
