Chevron matched peers by keeping gas prices inflated, posting massive profits and benefiting from limited consumer choices post-crisis. Remember when the price of gas was below $2 per gallon. The price for a barrel of oil stabilized long ago, yet these companies ket their pricess high-WHY?

Walmart widely increased grocery and merchandise prices, citing inflation but rarely rolled them back. This helped margins and profits skyrocket as consumers faced persistent high costs. By the way, why do they pay their workers so little, that many of them qualify for Government assistance?
