Mask is inspired by a character I drew in ~2020, who was in turn inspired by Skull Kid, especially as he appears in Twilight Princess. He’s a creepy little guy, and I thought he would be a perfect spooky season drawing.

(4/4) I left the conference with a literal laundry list of stuff to get done, the inspiration to do it (🤞hopefully), and it’s time to get cracking 😈

(3/4) Thank you so much to everyone who let me panic-talk at them, probably too quickly, and then shared their knowledge, experience, and the joy of their company with me anyways. Now that my nerves are freshly regulated and I’m no longer beneath overstimulating overhead lights, the work begins.

(2/4) I cannot describe how restorative it is to leave my darkened cave, poke my head out into the world, and be reminded of how many amazing creators there are all around. People I am so grateful to be in community with.

Also, I know that this drawing is just a room, but I’ve drawn a character every day so far this Artober, and I figured that if there was any prompt that I could get away with just doing and architectural study, it would be for “perspective” 😈
