My first time participating in a brisket smoke-off in 6 years and I took first place! Pretty happy about that. However, the best part was sampling everyone else's entry. Just wish I'd remembered to take pictures of my process. Next time.

Just got me a fresh blu-ray copy of Freaked. An absolute treasure of a movie from @alexwinter.com and Tom Stern. I might have to schedule a movie night. I have a feeling most of my friends haven't seen it. I will be correcting that soon.

I made this the other night while procrastinating, mainly because I thought all the posts about the blackout were boring. It feels like there is momentum bringing people together!
