😬 parents not interested, got taken to NUFC age 14, despite living in Todmorden, as my gf parents big Newcastle fans. Now 37, and our kids are 🖤🤍 too. Hope this counts 😅

I agree, they have. It makes me sad my kids don't get the interaction we used to.

I appreciate obviously, players do great things in community, but for us fans that live further afield, where match days (if we're lucky to get tickets) are kids only opportunity to meet players. It's sad for eg to see when Y.Wissa walked out after a recent game, his 'bodyguard' pushed 2 kids aside

The distance between fans & players has never been bigger. Rather than 'crackdown' would be nice to create an opportunity from this. F.Coloccini used to stay and chat, have pictures with everyone, my kids can't believe it today when we show them pictures or autographs we were fortunate to get #nufc

I remember a time, not long ago, when lots of players stopped after games on their way out, kids got to meet their heroes & get pics etc. lucky to get a wave off them now as stewards police their exits. I think it's sad, surely there's scope for a couple of players after each game to meet&greet?
