New meta-analysis showing pre-bunking (inoculation treatments) on misinformation techniques (I might call this "manipulation techniques" but whatevs) increases people's ability to spot misinfo w/o making them less trusting of news in general. I need to dig into the study, but this seems promising.

I'm fine with experts, like teachers, using GenAI if they find it helpful (e.g., developing & differentiating lesson plans). What I'm worried about is non-experts (e.g., students) using GenAI to avoid the desirable difficulties necessary for learning. #AI #GenAI
