In this book, "Early American Modernist Painting 1910-1935" by Abraham A. Davidson, it cites a phrase by Kenyon Cox, "Akajan maradak tecor sosthendi."
I find it funny that apparently it’s actually supposed to be “Ajakan maradak tecor sosthendi,” 1/2

New paragraph: Of course, there was tremendous resistance in America to modernism's spread and success. The charges could be violent and outrageous. Pictures made by patients in sanitariums for the insane were claimed to be just like the paintings and drawings of the Cubists [1]. After stating that the first Orphist (a branch of Cubism practiced by the Frenchman Robert Delaunay and others) picture was done by a donkey whose tail had been dipped in paint, Kenyon Cox, a chief debunker of modernism, asked: "if an artist is to choose his symbols to suit himself, and to make them mean anything he chooses, who is to say what he means or whether he means anything? If a man were to rise and recite with a solemn voice words like 'Akajan maradak tecor sosthendi,' would you know what he meant?"^4 Such outbursts were not sporadic, nor were they symptomatic only of the years immediately following the Armory Show. In 1924, eleven years after the Armor Show, there existed a Society devoted to the combating of Cubism.^5"
